DR. OGUNBIYI CELEBRATES DIRECTOR

The Permanent Secretary, Career Management Office, Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF)Dr. Marcus Ogunbiyi, MNSE, has pledged the continuous celebration of hardworking and dedicated Directors and staff, at retirement.

Dr. Ogunbiyi made this statement, in his Office, during a send forth programme for one of the Directorate staff of the Office, Mr. Caleb Owolawase, who recently exited the Service.

He commended the retiring Director for his hard work and the ability to manage the department efficiently, as well as effectively with the resources available to him.

He also added that Mr Owolawase, during the course of his work as a Civil Servant, relates very well with his colleagues, subordinates and thanked God for giving him the abilities to be innovative and committed in creating new ideas, which made him to succeed in the discharge of his responsibilities, satisfactorily.

 The Permanent Secretary further disclosed that from the little time he worked with the retiring Director, he knew him to be humble, dedicated and God fearing. He advised the outgoing Director to impact the upcoming generation by engaging in "service to humanity," so as not to waste the experience, knowledge and exposure gathered in Service.

In her remarks, the Consultant, Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS), Mrs. Anne Attah, testified on the humility and dedication to duty on the part of the retiring Director. She wished him well as he transits to a next stage in his life.

On her part, the Director, Employee Mobility, Mrs. Dada, while congratulating the outgoing Director described him as "a kind-hearted, very resourceful and brilliant personality."

Similarly, the Director, Learning and Development, Mr. Augustine Uzor, also attested that the retiring Director operated an open-door policy, which has earned him respect and admiration from members of staff. He wished him greater things ahead.

The celebrant appreciated the Head of the Civil Service, the Permanent Secretary, colleagues, likewise subordinates for finding him worthy of celebration, the kind words and prayers.
